Be the Next ASCP Esty of the Year

You look inspirational. We want to hear about it. (After all, it’s all about YOU!)

We’re inviting ASCP members to write a short story describing their unique professional journey. The ASCP 2025 Esty of the Year will have their story told in a 2025 issue of ASCP Skin Deep magazine, plus they’ll receive a professional photo shoot that showcases who they are and how they want to inspire others.

Submissions are now open! Nominate yourself (or a friend) by filling out the form here. We are looking for compelling essays that describe the nominee’s professional journey, including accomplishments, accolades, obstacles overcome, etc.

If you submitted a nomination in previous years but did not win, you are still eligible to enter and share your story. Simply update your story and resubmit it—we do not hold submissions from previous years.

  • Nominee must be a member of Associated Skin Care Professionals. If chosen as the winner, the winner must continue their ASCP membership throughout the entire year (January–December 2025) they are the “Esty of the Year” so they can fairly represent ASCP.
  • Nominee’s essay must be original work that has not been previously published, does not infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property, and is a truthful account of nominee’s life story.
  • The winner will be chosen by ASCP staff. The winner must agree to a background check to confirm eligibility and story details.
  • At the discretion of ASCP, the winner may be disqualified for the following reasons:
    • Winner is not eligible as determined by background check.
    • Winner does not truthfully represent their life story.
    • Winner is not an ASCP member and/or does not continue ASCP membership for the entirety of 2025.
  • All decisions are final.
