Tennessee passed Senate Bill No. 1339 (SB 1339) and House Bill No. 915 (HB 915) this legislative session. The bills authorize licensed estheticians to perform cosmetic microneedling if the service is performed under the supervision of a licensed physician.
SB 1339 and HB 915 went into effect May 11, 2021. However, rules must be drafted around this new law and ASCP anticipates being involved in the process. If you have questions, please email gr@ascpskincare.com.
