Esthetician licensure in the state of Alaska is regulated by the Alaska Board of Barbers and Hairdressers. To become a licensed skin care professional, Alaska requires completion of a licensed esthetics program consisting of 350 hours of training and successfully passing the written and practical examinations for esthetician licensure.
