BioPhotas, Inc., the global market leader in therapeutic LED Light Therapy devices and manufacturer of the Celluma Series, announced an educational partnership with ChangeWell Training Academy to bring personalized skin nutrition education to the aesthetic practitioner market.
Changewell, founded and headed by Mark J. Tager, MD, has developed a 10-hour Professional online training course based on Tager’s book Feed Your Skin Right. The course, “Inside Skin Beauty,” reveals the steps practitioners can take to provide clients with a personalized, comprehensive skin beauty program that includes professional assessment, personalized diet, intelligent supplementation, and bio stimulation, including Celluma LED Light Therapy.
Tager comments, “No two people have the same skin. A string of related scientific breakthroughs is making it possible for practitioners to deliver a program of truly personalized skin nutrition from the inside out and outside in.”
The award-winning Celluma Series of light therapy devices help users achieve clear, smooth skin by soothing inflammation and rejuvenating the body at a cellular level. FDA-cleared and medically CE marked, Celluma’s innovative shape-taking design allows for controlled targeted treatment anywhere on the body for improved skin tone and texture.
Tager adds, “One of the key factors in creating naturally glowing and radiant skin is to promote mitochondrial health. The inside out approach involves personalized diet and intelligent supplementation. But we can do even more from the outside in. Celluma light therapy leads the way with safe, effective devices that that add the extra dimension of biostimulation to a personalized skin beauty program.”
Commenting on educational partnership, BioPhotas’ chief executive officer Patrick Johnson says, “In the same way that plants use chlorophyll to convert sunlight into energy, high intensity light emitting diodes (LEDs) utilizing specific, proven wavelengths of light can trigger a natural biostimulatory effect in human tissue. Research has shown that light emitting diode (LED), or phototherapy can increase circulation, accelerate tissue repair, kill acne bacteria, decrease inflammation, improve acne prone skin, skin tone, texture, and clarity, decrease under eye wrinkles as well as ease muscle and joint pain, stiffness, spasm, and pain associated with arthritis.” Johnson adds, “We are impressed with Tager’s Inside Skin Beauty course. We want to help make this available to our professional practitioners.”
