Katie Anderson is the managing editor of Skin Inc. magazine and conference program coordinator for the Face & Body brand of events. She has been a beauty editor for 10 years. Before her current role, she edited a cosmetic science trade journal, Cosmetics & Toiletries, where she followed all current and future cosmetic technology and formulation. She began her career at Chicago Scene, where she covered the beauty and entertainment beat. She won a bronze Eddie Award for a single science article and is an avid follower of cosmetic technology and trends. She holds a master's degree in journalism from Columbia College Chicago.
