Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP) is proud to announce Dr. Mark Lees as the first recipient of the ASCP Industry Icon Award. The new award, which is part of ASCP’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards, honors a distinguished leader in the professional skin care industry who has made significant contributions through their work. 
Mark Lees has been a prominent figure in skin care for more than four decades. He exemplifies excellence in the industry with a dedication to the science of skin care. Lees is a skilled practitioner, owner of Mark Lees Skin Care, published author, educator, and contributor to ASCP Skin Deep and the ASCP SkinPro app.
As the first recipient of the ASCP Industry Icon Award, Lees says, “I am so excited and humbled to receive this honor from what I consider to be the biggest and most credible skin care group in the US. I feel that ASCP and I are on the same ‘wavelength'—ASCP tries to address real-world issues and increase knowledge for its members.”
Lees was announced as the winner at the ASCP Skin Deep Readers’ Choice Awards Party during IECSC Las Vegas on June 23, 2024.
