Like so many across the country and around the world, we are heartbroken by the devastation caused by the fires on Maui. On behalf of the team here at ABMP, ASCP, AHP, and ANP, our hearts go out to those affected by the tragedy, and we are wishing for the health and safety of our members and their families as they navigate this painful journey.  

We have reached out directly to our colleagues in the affected areas and have pledged to offer support in the ways we can. As one of those efforts, we will be making a donation to the local teams on the ground, and we invite you to do the same. The Honolulu Civil Beat identified the following organizations working on the front lines.   

Maui Strong 

Focusing on rapid response and working with local nonprofits to understand community needs.   

Maui Food Bank 

Collecting and distributing food to help the hungry in Maui County. 

Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement 

Working to match every donation to Maui fire victims. 

Maui Humane Society 

Supporting shelters for displaced people and animals and caring for injured animals.
